Hard water, cleaning products and even soap and shampoo that are used every day can damage standard glass, forming small dents and bumps that attract and retain filthy scum. Constant exposure to these pollutants causes a chemical reaction which roughens the surface of the glass. When this happens, the glass retains stains, residues and scale, which makes maintaining of its purity an almost impossible task. Due to its sealed surface, CristalGuard glass is resistant to corrosion, because the scum has no place to stick to.
